Installing Wordpress made /webmail disappear
Installing Wordpress made /webmail disappear
Hi All,
Firstly, please note that I am very new to linux and web servers as I only started learning 4 days ago. Therefore please feel free to treat my like an idiot and to spell things out or I may not understand. I won't be offended ;)
Anyway I'm running CentOS 7 with php7 on a Digital Ocean server with VestaCP control panel. I have added two Wordpress websites.
I am having a problem with my webmail. Everything worked perfectly until I installed WordPress and added my main website. Once I did this I could no longer type www.mysite.com/webmail as now I just get a 404. what confuses me is the fact that www.mysite.com/phpmyadmin works fine..
I have searched all over and cannot find a solution, probably due to the fact that I don't know what to look for.
I hope someone can help here, many thanks.
Curtis

Re: Installing Wordpress made /webmail disappear
Can you tell us what installation you have? Wich template you are using?
VestaCP with Nginx - Apache or Nginx - PHP-FPM
Are you using the default template? Or another template?

Re: Installing Wordpress made /webmail disappear
Sure, I just used the default from the website:
# Download installation script
curl -O http://vestacp.com/pub/vst-install.sh
# Run it
bash vst-install.sh
I setup WEB with the following
Web Template: default
Proxy Support NGINX with default template
# Download installation script

Re: Installing Wordpress made /webmail disappear
I decided to setup my server from scratch as the problem seems to occur when I update to PHP 7 using the following guide http://www.servermom.org/upgrade-vestac ... ntos/2974/
Is my problem due to the fact the PHP 7 is not fully supported by Roundcube or is something else happening during install? Such as a file being overwritten that I could change back so it works...

Re: Installing Wordpress made /webmail disappear
Can you check the log in: /var/log/roundcubemail
Re: Installing Wordpress made /webmail disappear
It says: No such directory.
Many thanks for offering to help but I can now confirm that everything is working perfectly. Either php7 or the way I installed it was the culprit, hopefully this helps someone else in future.
Thanks again!
