Installing and Uninstalling
  • Quote

Post by phantomore » Mon Apr 10, 2017 1:25 am

Hey guys,

this is a quick question. As I have been having issues with vestacp recently, Iw anted to ask if I can just uninstall it and install it back, weather if that would keep my websites or would reset everything.

Thanks.

Well, you can install again with --force option, but it's not very good idea.
Tell us, what prob you have and what's wrong with your current installation?

I posted the issue here :

I received no responce.

Nginx is working but vesta will not start.

I have no idea why this is happening.

Thank you so much :)

Ah, CentOS something like apt, if I remember correct command was like this:

Code: Select all

mkdir /root/backup_vestacp && cp -R /usr/local/vesta/ /root/backup_vestacp/

Code: Select all

yum reinstall vesta
it's for reinstall only vesta package
