Hello, today i did an update in my centos server and now my fail2ban inside vestacp is disabled but with fail2ban-client.service is active and running in vps. What i have to do now?

It shouldn't matter though, it works even though it doesn't show in the panel.
For me, I am having another problem. My vps is in hetzner and their network is being hammered by bots and I have way too many hack attempts on all ports.
I have changed the default server ports for most services but of course and they found the new ones!
And fail2ban works as it should but every time it restarts my iptables service and I can't connect to my mail server!
If I disable fail2ban everything works but I don't want to leave the server open to attacks!
Any solutions? I've googled a few things but there are no relative info on the topic and I don't see hetzner doing anything about securing their network

I totally agree, bots doing a party with hetzner ip's/ports
Just to mention with systemctl status fail2ban.service i see active (running)

As long as the service is running I think it is okay...but do you have any solution on how to deal with the relentless bot hammering?
I'd like to sent/receive emails again ^^

You can get a "provisional" pacth here:

check it and comment if works fine

Seem it works but in my case i left it as is till official fix comes :)
