User permissions issue
I am a super novice user, so sorry if my question is a little unclear or lack some info. Please ask for the info needed to answer.
I used Vesta with no issues for more than a year. In January I updated to new version of Vesta and bought the $50 File Manager plugin. Since then I have had problems with the permissions for the users with some unlimited and default package. (have 6 users - only my own just different genres of sites). I run CentOS7
Now 3 times during the last months the permissions seems to have changed out of the blue. I fix this either changing permissions via ssh access or as I just found out simply changing plan for user to another one and the back to original plan.
What happens is that the users in question simply loose the writing ability. So when the issue is there not possible to receive mails (they arrive when fixed), not possible to edit anything, or upload anything related to this user neither via ftp or site admin.
As I said I am really novice user. Any idea what could be wrong with my settings since this happen so often? Where to look for an answer on how to solve this?
Thanks
Lars
