Missing files in /backup after updating to R16

After the update to R16 I noticed that my /home/backup directory got much smaller. I didn't get any backup errors and backup seems to be working OK, because I can see the latest files (like for example admin.2016-06-30.tar).
The problem is that in /home/backup directory I have one file less than the max allowed backups for the hosting package. For hosting packages allowing 3 backups, I have 2 files. For hosting packages allowing 2 backups I have 1 file.
Hosting packages allowing 1 backup are OK and I have just one file.
What is more interesting is that in WebUI it shows the correct number of backup files. I can see admin.2016-06-28.tar, admin.2016-06-29.tar and admin.2016-06-30.tar in the Backup section of WebUI but there is no admin.2016-06-28.tar anywhere in the filesystem.
Can somebody confirm this?
