We are happy to announce that Vesta is back under active development as of 25 February 2024. We are working on v1 candidate and expect to engage more with the community over the coming months. We are committed to open source, and we encourage contributors to help us build the future of Vesta.
User ability to edit /home/user/conf/ files
User ability to edit /home/user/conf/ files
While I understand why permissions would be set so that when a user FTP's in, or uses the built in File Manager, that they couldn't edit those files, I have a need for users to be able to do that.
Ideally, it would become a setting in the GUI in a package, where you could allow "power users" to edit their own nginx/apache config files for their domains.
Does anyone know how to change the permissions so that a user can do this, without breaking any further VestaCP functionality?

We have similar idea in tracker -> https://bugs.vestacp.com/issues/452
I doubt we can have some power users soon - admin user only
