Does anyone have an idiots guide to Lets Encrypt in Vesta CP on Centos 7?

I have tried everything and cannot get it working
Error 2 and that's about it

Tried on a domain I dont use and it screwed u Apache completely

I can't believe it's this hard to set up when it's supported

Yah it depends on if you use cloudflare (or not). In case you do, create this page rule:

Code: Select all

*example.com/.well-known/acme-challenge/*
with SSL off (which refers to CloudFlare's SSL btw). Otherwise it will only work when you change cloudflare to flex SSL during issuing the certificate. And when it comes to being 'idiot proof' & VestaCP; then it should be a mere selection of two tickboxes in VestaCP and it should work. Does for me at least, although I run Ubuntu and got no Apache.
