Should I Install SpamAssassin & ClamAV?

Hello, looking for you help folks. Do you guys recommend with the installation SpamAssassin & ClamAV? If Yes, Why? If No, Why not? :D

Also you guys suggest Domain or Sub Domain for Hostname?

Do you want to provide email services? If yes, install spamassassin and clamav to get clean and spam less emails.

If you only want to run one server, you can use your domain. Otherwise you can use something like server01.yourdomain.tld.

It's always a better practice to use a subdomain for the hostname

I server must a a non public name such as server1.domain.tld
than pointing your service like mail.domain.tld and www.domain.tld via CNAME or even A to it.

It will help you when you will make a migration..

Yes www. is a subdomain
