Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to install Vesta on my Ubuntu 16.04 server but I get this error:

Anyone can help me to see what's wrong there ?

Wrong install script, you try to use rhel (centos / redhat), maybe there is a bug in auto install script. You can try to download the debian script from here: http://vestacp.com/pub/vst-install-debian.sh

I just follow the install instructions for the Ubuntu OS.

I tried what you suggest but nothing, the same error.

No stress, it can sometimes be that you do not have an answer within minutes. It is still a community and not a paid support.

As I already wrote, it does load the wrong file. Don't know why, this may be specific to your system. You can download directly the debian/ubuntu file and run it:

Code: Select all

curl -O http://vestacp.com/pub/vst-install-ubuntu.sh
bash vst-install-ubuntu.sh
  --- or ---
bash vst-install-ubuntu.sh SpecificString from Advanced Installation http://vestacp.com/install/
