choosing control panel

Hi,

I am looking for a new control panel. At first sight, I liked Vesta. But I do worry about some things... Main is lacking IPv6 support. I see first comments about this from 2013, it is now 2017, and see it is still not implemented. I also worry that the last new version is from 9 months ago.

Is Vesta still maintained? Are there concrete plans and dates known about when IPv6 will be implemented?

A bit of searching will turn up the following:
The repo for source is on GH so you can watch activity if thats your thing.
The forums are pretty active.
If your a complete Linux noob it might be a good idea to learn those basics first or pony up some dollars for support.

I use it for serving pages along with MySQL for my managed Wordpress clients - has been pretty rock solid.

As Locus said,
VestaCP is a great free alternative to manage your Linux web server... with bare minimum overhead but only if you know (or willing to learn) the basics of Linux administration and have understanding of how the web network works. If you are a complete noob and need support configuring at each and every level, you might find it hard at first.

It is an excellent panel which is evolving slowly... have no complaints so far apart from a bit slow rolling updates.

Why do you think I am a noob ? ;-)

I am using Ispconfig already for several years, and was looking for something else.

But I cannot host websites without IPv6. I also do not understand that others do so. In October I have to install several new servers with control panel. It will be for a period of 3 years. WIll check again in October. If there is no IPv6 then I will be back in 2020 ;-)

I do and feel good.

About my choice it's more hardware question, I don't know where are you from, but in Russia ipv6 not so popular ;-(

I'm not thinking, I'm telling you if incase you are new to Linux... How on earth would I know your experience level ? atleast you did not sound like an experienced one from the way you wrote your initial post.

Try to understand the statements before jumping to conclusions.
