Hello guys!
Lets celebrate one year without any update or release of our favorite CP Vesta.
If to be serious, what's happaning? Roadmap broken? Developers still drunk?

Релиз подготавливается Сергеем Родиным. Год был сложным не в плане разработки, а в плане загруженности всей команды.
Ничего не произошло, поддержка работает, над релизом тоже работают, на гитхабе активно принимаем новые изменения. Поэтому обсуждать то и нечего :))

This seems to be the direction of the developers. It is a very developer-centric view which is "go to Github". Not everyone is GitHub savy and its primarily for devs. Not end users.

I have been using VestaCP for some time. Nearly 4 years, but development is very slow. I bought the FileManager plugin. So I did contribute. I guess I should buy Paid Support, but I do not see new features. Still 'rough' around the edges.

This is why Cpanel is still very popular and people pay for Cpanel. I would rather buy VestaCP for $XX dollars per year than see nothing happen in development. Super sad.

А судя по этой ветке https://github.com/serghey-rodin/vesta/issues/1330 контрибьюторы уже кооперируются над свежим форком. Мне кажется пришла пора все-таки сделать проект по настоящему опенсорсным, разделить наконец-то ветки на гитхабе, vst-install.sh брать с гитхаба, вынести механизм релизов на мастер ветку и не завязывать все на одном человеке. Иначе вангую после "натужного года" будет выкачен глючный релиз, который будут исправлять с вашим подходом еще столько же... на секундочку !0day уже почти месяц! висит в публичном интернете!

I just looked into github. It seems that there are a lot of commits.
Lots of closed issues
But im not totally sure if there are significant updates using github repo.

Yeah, thats why I chose Vesta over ISPconfig.

I haven't dealt too much with email specifically on Vesta, but what's the issue? Are emails being falsely marked as junk or not going to junk at all? (or something else)
