moving servers - transferring vestacp
  • Quote

Post by peterb » Sun Dec 03, 2017 8:11 pm

Any advise on how to move vestacp to a new server?
It's the same config.

I have the vestacp backups of each sub account and admin
Do these include the mysql or not?

So I have the new server with vestacp admin on it.
How do I import the backup files?
Where do they go?
Anything else I need to do with vestacp?

Many thanks
Peter

It looks like the BACKUP tar from the CP itself has mysql in it.

Can I just use this or should I use the command line

How many users are you going to migrate @peterb? Do you know how to handle yourself by console? So I give you instructions so you can do it without that script.
