Re: Error: vesta-nginx update failed
Anyone who uses Vesta should learn about package managers (apt, yum, etc.), including the servers they're running.
It's taken me quite a while to understand the same thing, and as I learned more I realized how irresponsible it is to be using a VPS without any interest in making it secure and investing time in managing it properly.
The true strength of Vesta is the CLI, along with the ability to manage templates. If you don't have a single idea what nginx, apache (and httpd) are... then take a $10 course on Udemy or go with a shared hosting solution.
This is a forum to support Vesta and not to throw instructions to folks who have no idea what it takes to run a server.
I didn't know squat and used Vesta as a springboard. So anyone else can aa long as they're not fooling themselves into thinking that every issue will have an instant solution.
