Backing Up VestaCP Install
Backing Up VestaCP Install
I noticed that there recently was an update released, 0.9.8-18. Currently I am running 0.9.8-17 on CentOS 6. My question is, how exactly do I back up the VestaCP install in case something goes wrong with the update? Not looking to backup my sites, just the VestaCP and configuration files it uses. The fact that the main page of this website states "It is ompletle save and will perform update automatically" makes me a bit cautious before updating. Also I tried searching for this already, but the forums kept on saying I was using too common of a term.

If possible, use a snapshot function of your vps provider (if you use a vps), otherwise check google for how to image/backup a linux system, first hit: https://www.maketecheasier.com/back-up- ... ive-linux/
