Vesta wouldn't update to 0.9.8-19 on Ubuntu 16.04 [SOLVED]
Just FYI ...
My VMs are Ubuntu 16.04. I couldn't get Vesta to update from 0.9.8-17 to 0.9.8-19, either from the web console or the CLI. No error messages, just no changes or responses.
I ended up working through the v-update-sys-vesta-all and v-update-sys-vesta code. I found my problem in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/vesta.list. The only line in it was:
Well, I originally installed Vesta on Ubuntu 14.04, then upgraded the VMs to Ubuntu 16.04 after Vesta 0.9.8-17 had been released. Either the OS or Vesta updates must have disabled the Trusty repo, but the Xenial repo wasn't enabled. So I added this line to vesta.list:
Problem solved, Vesta now updates normally.
