i'm glad that you support the project! The only thing I know, where gzip is used by vesta, is the backup script. Maybe you've there a loop.
Edit: and apache mod_gzip of course.

Because of VestaCP only we were able to start our business of web hosting and are successful now. We make 100 dollars a day which is a lot here in our country and I know that this amount will keep on increasing.
