Vesta Control Panel - Forum

Hello guys ,

I am using vestacp for a little over 1 year now and I never had this kind of issue with it .
I reinstalled my dedicated server and then wanted to install vestacp again and for some reasons I keep getting the error "W: Failed to fetch http://apt.vestacp.com/jessie/dists/jes ... 4/Packages 404 Not Found

E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead." .

Ouput uname-a : Linux ca026 3.16.0-5-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.16.51-3+deb8u1 (2018-01-08) x86_64 GNU/Linux

It's connected with repo updates that looks like are not finished yet.

E: Unable to locate package roundcube-core
E: Unable to locate package roundcube-mysql
E: Unable to locate package roundcube-plugins
E: Unable to locate package vesta-php
E: Unable to locate package vesta-ioncube

I see this since noon. Here viewtopic.php?p=69204#p69204 mentioned Debian 9 is already fixed, waiting for 8.

I see , ok didn't knew it . I will upgrade to debian 9 then and try it .

Be careful since Debian 9 is a s**t that does not support old PHP, you will be forced to rewrite half of your websites code xD or f**c with installing old PHP and modules manually.

If you see

/usr/local/vesta/bin/v-change-sys-hostname: line 16: /func/main.sh: No such file or directory

etc when calling any command-line apis just reconnect via SSH. Solved.

Try to install again
