DNS Lock (possible bug)
DNS Lock (possible bug)
Hey Guys,
One of the things that I ask myself. Why is it possible to link a domain via an account? And to create different dns records via a different account.
This means that when you have two customers, and run your own Nameservers. It is possible that one customer creates a dns record while the domain name is not even his or her.
You also want to be able to use an account as a mail account and the other as web hosting.
As an example. I have registered the domain name voorbeeld.nl and another user creates the dns record mailing.voorbeeld.nl and will mail it with it.
I love vestacp but it's really tricky, and perhaps a security issue

Re: DNS Lock (possible bug)
Yes, this is VestaCP specialty.
Also, for example, first user can add domain example.com, but second user can add (sub)domain mail.example.com.
