I've looked at your demo and overall it looks like it would work well for my needs. EXCEPT for the fact that when viewing it on my android phone (in Chrome), elements of the page are cut off/hidden by other page elements.

If I install VCP, is there a template I can modify to fix this? Is it a fairly easy to use template?

I'd suggest given the ease of installing VestaCP on a cheap VM, you should probably just try it and see. I don't know how skilled you are at web development, but you should find all the files in /usr/local/vesta/template. Be aware that every time you upgrade Vesta your changes will be overwritten.

However, let me also ask the question: what is it that you'll be doing with VestaCP that means you absolutely have to access it immediately from your Android phone and can't wait until you get back to a proper computer? Most of the stuff you do with VestaCP happens when you're setting up a user, or adding a website, and then you logout and don't log back in again for weeks or months. There are very few times you'd need to do something in such a hurry. So perhaps your effort in doing this would be wasted?

Also, if there really is something you need to do in an emergency, you can do pretty much anything over an ssh session using the vesta cli scripts, so maybe this is what you're looking for. eg. v-change-user-password etc, etc.

For quite some time, I've used my phone for MOST of what I do on the internet. I've sometimes gone 4 weeks without touching my computer.

I've been a cPanel shared hosting user for about 15 years. I use my phone to connect to it without an issue. More often than not, I'm creating (or deleting) an email forwarder.

I use forwarders as a way to deal with spam. Only a very limited group of people get my personal email address. Everyone else gets a throw-away address. This way if an address starts receiving spam, I have a limited group of people/companies to notify about the change. With this in mind, to answer your Q RE "How Often", I'd say "OFTEN".

I admire your tenacity. The software keyboards on Android phones drive me nuts, perhaps because I touch type. But each to their own ...

In that case you might find this script useful
