I have a VPS with Abelohost and it is going down almost everyday. I am not even able to SSH until I reboot the server from the control panel. What I noticed is that apache goes down everytime and I am able to get my website up by turning on apache using VNC and SSH too starts working then. I had setup auto restart of apache by following a tutorial but I think the script doesn't work. The staff says this "
keep in mind that we have informed аll clients "We Planned Network Maintenance: Timeframe undetermined"
It's possible that your server will be offline because of "Network Maintenance"

But I don't know why restart would fix it or turning on apache using VNC.

You have had such problems before... you need to check all your sites and if any of them is vulnerable and having malware injections. Wordpress sites that are compromised often put severe load on Apache and MySQL usually crashing them. Disable sites one by one and monitor the performance.

They announced scheduled updates
