Re: I cannot update on Centos 7
The repo (r.vestacp.com) is available from my side, can't find any error. Can you try again? You also can try to "ping r.vestacp.com" from your server to see if you get an answer. You can also do a "yum update" to update your system, this should also update the vesta packages.

Re: I cannot update on Centos 7
This happens sometimes when Nginx config is prompted to be overwritten or retained while upgrading... just do a manual update and answer any config questions to "keep existing config"
Code: Select all
yum update -y && yum upgrade -y

Re: I cannot update on Centos 7
I cannot seem to ping it from my server.
--- r.vestacp.com ping statistics ---
55 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 54004ms
I am still getting this:
[root@server ~]# yum update -y && yum upgrade -y

Any ideas here why its timing out when i try to ping it from my server? Is the server blocking my servers IP or something?

Re: I cannot update on Centos 7
Anybody can help with this?
My server cannot ping the vestacp servers, therefore it cannot connect to the update mirrors.
How can i resolve this?

Try to clean yum cache and then update.
Code: Select all
yum clean all

Re: I cannot update on Centos 7
Thanks for everyone for the replies.
It turned out my csf was blocking something.
I turned it off, did the update, then turned it back on. Probably csf is not configured properly to accept updates from vestacp.
Anybody else use csf and know what i can do so i dont need to turn off csf each time to update it manually?
