Doing Reverse Proxy
Doing Reverse Proxy
Hi,
I am doing a task for a friend which I really do not know how to.
Here is an instructions by Kiwi.com how to perform reverse proxy for their website
What I have done so far
1. Installed vestacp with domain.com hostname
2. Edited /home/admin/conf/web/domain.com.nginx.conf
Changed proxy_pass from http://ip.address:8080; to http://domain.kiwi.com:8080;
Changed the other proxy_pass from http://ip.address:8080; to http://domain.kiwi.com:8080;
Current result:
I am getting Sorry, you have been blocked error by cloudflare.
So somehow cloudflare is blocking me. Which I think I have done the job?
Can anyone confirm if the reverse proxy config is correct?

So the end goal here is when I put domain.com, it will stay on that domain on the browser, but it will show the content of domain.kiwi.comUsing your own domain (domain.com), but from our side you will receive subdomain domain.kiwi.com and you can put it to your own domain domain.com through the reverse proxy with host header override
So here, I figured to install vestacp with nginx for my friend.The reverse proxy can be either your own webserver or CDN provider
