How long does the VestaCP default index.html take to show modifications to it?

I changed the index.html content of my domain. I added a Yandex meta tag to verify my domain so I can sign up for an e-mail domain host account with Yandex.

HOWEVER, the change doesn't want to show up. I checked with FileZilla and the change is there.

How long does the VestaCP default index.html change take to be propagated through the Internet. Like is VestaCP caching it, and how long do I have to wait until the change shows up?

It's 9:49 PM. Index.html was changed at around 5:00 p.m. I checked my FileZilla and the changed index.html is saved to my public folder as changed. However, it's still the old version showing almost 5 hours afterwards? Bizarre!

May be nginx cache? Anyway this is not a Vesta issue. Learn about caching first.

Are you sure your DNS is pointing to the right A record ?
or
you are editing the file on the right server ?

Changes to your files should be visible instantly... if you can't see them, you are clearly faulting it somewhere
