I just want to make the necessary modification to in the DNS zone of my registrar such as the web site my-domain.fr is "going" to the fixed IP V4 address of my VPN and that I can receive and send mail to the email adresses created within Vesta
I have created :
- A record my-domain.fr to VPN-fixed-IP-V4
- A record mail.-domain.fr to VPN-fixed-IP-V4
- MX record my-domain.fr to mail.my-domain.fr
I have used mail.my-domain.fr as I found an MX record in the DNS ns1.domain.tld of vesta control panel.
- Should it be wise to replace the dns at the registrar by ns1.domain.tld and ns2.domain.tld by adding an NS record at the registrar ?
- Are ns1.domain.tld and ns2.domain.tld names created by default at installation of vesta CP that should be renamed ? If yes, what is the rule ?
Thanks for any help and advices.
