Statement and Goodbye

Dear VestaCP Team

Considering that once again the Russian way of communication is being used - i.e. questions about the state of Vesta regarding its inactivity and discussions about other forks are rather deleted than answered despite my clear separation, I don't see any reason to be represented in this forum at all.

@imperio or whoever is responsible: Please remember to remove also my user account when deleting this thread.

I'd like to thank @skid and all contributors for setting a milestone in the hosting panel sector with Vesta - but due to the circumstances it's definitely time to distance myself from this project.

I wish all participants all the best!

Greetings
ScIT

the project is not abondoned, but team is very busy in last time. Now we are rewriting the front-end interface of the panel. Front-end of FM already done. Also we are working under support of CentOS 8 & Debian 10

Actually, no. That I work on Hestia was never a secret at any time, was also the reason why I was no longer active here in the forum.

My main problem was and is the communication with the community - be it with the past security issues/leaks, which I don't want to rehash, or the missing presence in the forum or on Github (as example: https://github.com/serghey-rodin/vesta/issues/1971). Decisive for the statement was the reaction with the deletion of posts, not Hestia as you assumed. For the notes: 4183r isnt one of our team members, it's just a community user which you can easily verify if you check his issue reports on our github project or forum entries.

It's nice that you continue working on the project, you are welcome to have a look at our source code: We have implemented Debian 10 support, maybe you are also interested in the 2FA or the MultiPHP implementation.

Guys, sorry about i interfere you.

Main Vesta problems are missing roadmap and any visible working.

See: people asking about IPv6 during two years - nothing changes. Over 50 pull requests on Github - no reactions. Too many issues without answers.

But anyway thank you for working. I'm still use Vesta as primary CP )

Of course you're right, with what you write! My point is simply the most important one for me personally :).

If it does not take 10 minutes to answer the questions asked in the forum, we think that this is dead, and more when the website says we have a version and the panel is another. Appearance is everything.
