Hey guys, since this proyect isn't working anymore because this new v1.00 """""""update""""""" and the owner gives a s* about it (or his probably dead), I have been researching for an alternative and I found HestiaCP. Check it out https://hestiacp.com. Tt's a fork from VestaCP.

I understand your motivations.

That's why I'm keeping version 0.9.8 on my servers, because version 1.0 still seems to be very unstable.

I'm using Cyberpanel in a project, but I don't like it. Everything is very complicated.

I don't like the CWP either.

I plan to test Ajenti and Sentora. HestiaCP only works on Debian and Ubuntu, and I don't use those systems on servers.

As a last option you always have ISPConfig. (LOL)

MyVestaCP it only works for Debian.

I really like VestaCP a lot because I can use the terminal to perform various actions and I'm not stuck with the graphical interface, as with other control panels.

If anyone has suggestions about other dashboards, that would be nice.

I've started looking at aapanel recently, it's a decent panel but it's got some serious issues of its own, like the error messages being in some Asian (unsure if Chinese, japanese, or what) language for apparently no reason.

The aaPanel is on my test list.

And I'm also going to check out the project forum (https://forum.aapanel.com/) to see the main issues and conversations about the latest version.

I really don't know what's going on with Vestacp's developers that they wanted to go on their separate ways and fork it.
However, Hestiacp has been around and now my production panel. What I like about it is its php selector and you are able to install php modules manually. Other than that, I think it is the most advanced fork of Vesta.
What I dont like about it is it is slower for some reason

Vestacp is hella fast when you click a link. That is what I miss.

Anyway, AApanel is decent. But it is not for organizing users and its websites. And it has issues when installing plugins.

I moved from Vestacp to CWP when there was no update in Vesta. CWP is pretty much a cPanel clone but with no support.

Cyberpanel is another alternative. But I hate it for some reason. Dont like its UI. Dont like how to manage users and websites.
But, it has Open Litespeed if you are into that.

Webmin and Virtualmin are also good alternative. They look old but they are extremely powerful.
My friend uses these to link their websites and SAP. If you know what SAP is, then it is that powerful. And free.

Is Webmin a good alternative to VestaCP?

Not too sure as webmin has it's fair share of cons as well.
