So im in a big issue where i am trying to use 2 vesta servers.

The 1st server is for dns records only,

2nd is a webserver,

Theory I should be able to add domain and type the following ip address as per article here.

https://www.hostwinds.com/tutorials/add ... trol-panel

However after the following configuration has been set, I navigate to domain that is added to 1st server.
All i see is the vesta page showing the servers FQDN in big letters.

Content is not being displayed from 2nd web server.

After looking into some network scans, the request never leaves the 1st server.

I have tried disabling firewall as i already have both behind an active firewall on my network with necessary ports open.

I have tried restarting bind9,
I have tried restarting 1st server all together,
I have looked at logs in 2nd server and shows nothing,

I do not need to add them into a cluster, I simply need 1st server to route the domains to another local ip using the DNS Feature in Vesta panel.

Are you creating domain DNS record with web server IP?

Test with the nslookup or host command to verify that the domain IP is correct and that it matches the IP of the web server.

This tutorial you indicated only works if the DNS and the web server are on the same server.
