Unable to generate CSR
  • Quote

Post by Spooney » Tue May 24, 2022 3:30 am

Hi it has come time to renew my SSL certificate for my subdomain, I went in to Vesta CP and discovered that when I press Generate CSR it just comes back to this screen

I have tried to generate the CSR elsewhere and install the SSL cert through the interface but when I choose Save it comes back to the page without SSL enabled and none of the cert details.

Can you please suggest what, if anything, I could do short of destroying the droplet and reinstalling? There's a lot going on on the server that I would have to rebuild.
I have restarted the server.
I have tried to make a new Web Domain entry under Web and clicked CSR generation there, no difference.

Version:

Thanks for any advice.

NOTE: I don't know why the images are not embedding, they work if you right click and 'open image in another window'

Update VestaCP to the last version via apt update && apt upgrade or the yum alternative

After that is should be patched

Thank you so much!!
That looks like it worked, a window came up to take my details. My version was 1.0.0-1 and it updated to 1.0.0-6

The great support is much appreciated!!
Thanks again.
