SMTP don't work with multiple domains and IPs?
SMTP don't work with multiple domains and IPs?
Hello,
First of all, thank you for a great software, it looks awesome!
With this said, I have run into a problem with the SMTP service, when adding a new domain and IP to the control panel .
For example: Let's say that my first domain is http://www.mysite1.com with the IP 12.13.14.15.
When I then setup an additional IP (for example 12.13.14.16) and domain (http://www.mysite2.com) , it works perfectly, but the problem comes when I then try to send an emails (via Exim SMTP) from the different domains.
All emails I send out comes from the first IP (12.13.14.15) and domain (http://www.mysite1.com) and never from the second IP and domain. I'm able to relay the email via the second IP and/or domain, but when it comes to the email user, the IP and domain name resolves to the first IP and domain.
FYI, I have of course different mail domain as well and mail accounts.
Any help on this would be HIGHLY appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: SMTP don't work with multiple domains and IPs?
Current version doesn't support dedicated SMTP IP address for vhosts. We will implement this functionality in next releases.

Ahh, that's unfortunate. :/skid wrote:Current version doesn't support dedicated SMTP IP address for vhosts. We will implement this functionality in next releases.
Any ideas on when the new release will be out?
Thanks!
Re: SMTP don't work with multiple domains and IPs?
Our next release is scheduled on Feb 17th. However, it will not include the configuration for multiple exim vhosts support.
Unfortunately at this moment I can not tell you exact date. I think that this feature will be available somewhere in April maybe sooner.

Thanks for the quick reply.skid wrote:Our next release is scheduled on Feb 17th. However, it will not include the configuration for multiple exim vhosts support.

Meanwhile, do you know of any "workaround" for this problem (how we can setup EXIM manually) to get this to work at this moment?
Thanks.
Re: SMTP don't work with multiple domains and IPs?
Not sure. I will check it a bit later.

Re: SMTP don't work with multiple domains and IPs?
Why exim instead of postfix?
