Database connection and backup errors
Database connection and backup errors
Hi
Im using Vesta for a few weeks now. I started having database connection errors since yesterday.
I have only 2 small DB.
One of them is from a wordpress site (2mb) that im testing (not having visitors or traffic yet).
The other one is from a software im using for sending bulk email (38mb) that works with php called Sendy.. and it doesnt use so much resources.
Both of them working with different DB. And they both stop connecting to the db at the same time.
Also, today when i woke up i received an email with a "Backup Failed: Can't connect to mysql server localhost" message.
The solution for me was to restart the server everytime. This happened at least 5 or 6 times in the same day.
Im using DigitalOcean´s as hosting server. And i guess is not a hardware problem because its a good host, anyway my server has 512mb of ram, i think is plenty enough for what im doing now.
I read somewhere in the forum that maybe the mysql config is the problem, but the post talk about max connections, and its only me using the server right now, there are no other users, so i dont think is that. Also i want to add, that swap will not help because the server has an SSD HD.
What should i do? Is it a configuration problem (php, mysql)?
Im posting mysql config file, a link to mysql log and a vesta´s services panel screenshot.
Can someone help? Thank you so much!
Im posting a link to the mysql log here: https://paste.gparent.org/139
This is my mysql config file (my.cnf):
