Team,

i try to restore a backup with the command
/usr/local/vesta/bin/v-restore-user admin mysite.tar

the process is stopped with this message : Error: nginx restart failed

When i try a
Service nginx restart
i get :

nginx: [emerg] unexpected end of file, expecting ";" or "}" in /home/myweb/conf/web/apache2.conf:44
nginx: configuration file /etc/nginx/nginx.conf test failed


Any idea ?

Can you post here the content of /home/myweb/conf/web/apache2.conf file ?
Otherwise, check the line 44 and see if there is a } missing

that's an apache set file so there is no } wich is normal
any other idea because this error is coming since i restored the backup and it never happens before

Then check /etc/nginx/nginx.conf file
