I really don't understand

I have 4 vps with vesta panel since 6 month ago or something like that, I installed them on vps with centos 6, I often update the operating system and I manually look for updates in control panel.
Well, yesterday I realized that one of them even if it shows “core package Version: 0.9.8 “ it's market in red as outdated so I tried to update it manually and also setup the autoupdate but it's impossible to remove the red writing “outdated”.
So I tried to reinstall centos and vesta panel but it's still the same, I tried ubuntu 14.04 and debian 7 but it's still the same, obviously I update the operating system right after install.
I tried to install centos 6 with vista panel in another abandoned vps of my own and everything works fine, also the other three my vps works fine and don't show “outdated”.
I really don't understand why only with that vps the problem appear, I do the same things on every different vps.
I can not understand what is causing the problem and then even how to investigate.
Can anybody help me?
I can give via pm access data if needed.
Thank you

P.S. sorry for my broken english.

I'm having sort of the same issue.

I just updated vesta on Debian Wheezy (apt-get update && apt-get upgrade) and it saw vesta as an update, so I installed it. Now I was in the control panel and looked at updates (it should be updated right?) and it shows that vesta package is outdated :(.

It could be a cron issue in my case (my counters and stuff also haven't been updated in a while). Will look into this and hopefully get it working very soon :) Will first take a look at all the logs.

I restarted cron and it seems it's working (graphs are updated for the first time in days). Version is still 'outdated'. I checked the update, but that seems to be a new package (0.9.8-9).

Will investigate further on this. Really is a strange issue, in my case, with updating by using apt-get.
