Vesta Control Panel - Forum

Dear forum,

Since I have several problems with my installation, is it possible to reinstall Vesta without losing neither my settings or clients? I am running Ubuntu 14.04.

Hi,
I recommend to you download all backups on your PC and make a new installation of vestacp
After that you can restore backups for your users
put all archives to /home/backups
and follow this command in ssh user - name of your user
user.xxxx-xx-xx.tar - title of backup

Thanks a lot for your reply. The problem is that backups are not created. The log file says thst they are created. However there are no files in /home/backup and in the vestacp interface, all are shown with size of 1MB.

Show me vesta backup log your backups local or ftp ?

They are both local and remote (ftp)
