manage domain document root?
manage domain document root?
Hello
Vesta is a great control panel and really provides a great speed for static websites.
But, i have a problem: can't find an easy way to define each domain document root.
A real life example: if you wish to host multiple wordpress sites, either for a blog network or from small customers, the best way to do it is using wordpress multisite, therefore not duplicating wordpress files and plugins. WP Multisite has a feature for domain mapping, internally mapping several domains in a multisite install. This makes it easy to clone, duplicate, update and mantain multiple sites.
However, to do so you have install a wordpress multisite in one domain/directory and then point all the domains and subdomains you use for that multisite to the same directory (document root), managing them on wordpress itself.
On cpanel/zpanel/virtualmin it's pretty straightforward, define or change each domain/subdomain document root by editing it.
In Vesta I haven't found any way of doing it.
Can someone point me to the right direction?
Thanks in advance

Re: manage domain document root?
Same problem here. Moved my company website on a Vesta host and I'm really satisfied with it. Now I'm experiencing issue to implement a multi-store feature based on several domains pointing to the same single document root.
Is there anyway to accomplish it? It is a pity this limits things.
Any trick or workaround using Apache mod_rewrite? Anyone supporting for it?
Many thanks in advance.
