You can uninstall without problems Exim, Dovecot and Bind after install VestaCP.eddie wrote:Hi everyone,

For example, I don't use DNS and Mail service in my VPS and, after installing VestaCP, I disable Exim, Dovecot and Bind with chkconfig (CentOS). Then, this services are not running on my server and are not using RAM, but remains installed if someday I need it.

Thanks for your help! I hope there can be selected during the installation phase, seems not supported currently。

What i suggest you do is go to:
Vesta control panel > Services and disable the services you dont need. For example, you can disable things like the email server and dns server.

No, me at least, I can´t choose what services want during installation. But it's easy uninstall/deactivate these services after.
Of course, you can do that, but remember that after reboot the server, these services will be running again. If you want to avoid the initialization of the services after reboot, you need to change it (via chkconfig, update-rc.d, etc.).patstan wrote:What i suggest you do is go to:
