Vesta Control Panel - Forum

I am not sure anyone here is aware of the situation with ZPanel and Sentora, however, I am a ZPanel convert because of what is happening with that project. Long story short, some terrible company called Hostwinds bought ZPanel and the whole deal fell apart. The lead developer left and the project stopped. A group of people picked it up and renamed it Sentora but its a mess and falling apart as well.

My point is that there are a ton of people running ZPanel and Sentora looking for another solution and I think VestaCP is a perfect solution. Just so you know.

I agree, I was looking into zPanel and found out development was at an end, and all that mess is not good in terms of security updates and stuff. I would always use Vesta, and Vesta still needs a lot of work. There could be better support (getting attention on these forums is hard) and for some bugs to be fixed (the latest update gave me FTP issues). But overall I love Vesta for the simplicity and relaibility!
