We are happy to announce that Vesta is back under active development as of 25 February 2024. We are working on v1 candidate and expect to engage more with the community over the coming months. We are committed to open source, and we encourage contributors to help us build the future of Vesta.
Is it safe to update?
Re: Is it safe to update?
Clustering is a redundancy-solution. You synchronize the two (or more) servers so that in the event one goes down, the other can take over the workload and your clients don't notice.krok wrote:Milka wrote:
Great! but could you clarify what is the purpose of the mail cluster then? i have 2 vesta servers and would like to setup one of them as a fallback server. i wonder if this is possible using my 2 servers? i only have dns cluster setup atm.

Re: Is it safe to update?
I certainly hope not. I chose Vesta because it's a simple, easy and lightweight panel. If I'd wanted some bloated piece of shit with Installatron or Softalucous I would have chosen Plesk.krok wrote: do you know if there will be any script installer for vesta?
If Vesta does offer it, I sure hope it will be an option we can opt-out during install.
