Vesta Control Panel - Forum

Scroll to the bottom post where I have received my certificate and now am at a loss on installing it.

I bought an SSL certificate from Comodo for the control panel. I have to specify if the server uses nginx or Apache when requesting the certificate. Which do I choose? I want to have a certificate that works.

Also, for the domain in the certificate, do I enter mysite.org or mysite.org:8083 ? Thanks!

:8083 is port number. It just requires domain.

Thanks! Very helpful. But how come the SSL certificate configuration file is located in /usr/local/vesta/nginx ? For better clarification, the file that points to the SSL certificate is located in the Nginx directory.

Alright, I have my certificate and three other files. I ordered the certificate under Apache web server (which I hope was right instead of nginx). I am at a total loss as to installing it. Can someone else who has done this please tell me how? Thanks!

Note: the certificate is for the control panel only, not ANYTHING else
