I'd like to know this too..
I have some Free SSL from StartSSL which I'd surely like to use...
Secondly, I think the SSL Certificate market will blast once
https://letsencrypt.org/ launches.

I don't want my vesta box to get fucked up in the next update, therefore I want to install ssl from the panel.

cagatay,
you should create web domain or subdomain for vestacp, and then you will add ssl certificate

SSL certificates can using only on webdomais or subdomains
You cant using certificates for ip, so you should create domain or subdomain for VestaCP

ok so Create a domain name (abc.com) --> Make it Default --> Install certificate on it, enable https.
And then to access Vesta via
https://abc.com:8083
I hope I'm Correct ???
