We are happy to announce that Vesta is back under active development as of 25 February 2024. We are working on v1 candidate and expect to engage more with the community over the coming months. We are committed to open source, and we encourage contributors to help us build the future of Vesta.
New release for 2015 ?
Re: New release for 2015 ?
I am at the exact same situtation. I need to have a server ready to be delived by 1 June 2015. So it will be very helpful to have an exact date or know at least if it is going to be ready for sure by the end of May. I would love nginx only version.
Re: New release for 2015 ?
will the premium, version be released with this update too ie the file manager support
Re: New release for 2015 ?
Can we have a release date for the new VestaCP version? An approximation will be fine.
Re: New release for 2015 ?
I just want to give a suggestion.imperio wrote:Nginx + php-fpm5 already tested and ready
Now we are working on a new design for 0.9.9 and new section with server settings and vestacp settings
New features for 0.9.9 release
+nginx + php-fpm5
-new section with server settings and vestacp settings
+new installer
+Support for RHEL 7 / CentOS 7
+unlimited packages
-new design
+Do not show plain text password in field
+send email if password was changed
-fixes for most popular bugs
-File Manager (commercial feature)
i think file manager will be after few releases, maybe in 0.9.9-2
The current interface design is very good looking. It makes Vesta really stand out from the crowd. I would strongly suggest to make new design and the current design as an option of theme that can be choose for.

Re: New release for 2015 ?
I would suggest that release the new version with current completed features instead of waiting for all features to be released all together, one feature with one release is not a bad idea, it also gives time to users to test it while next release you plan and it also gives confidence to users that devs are active and they can expect immediate fix if any issue arise. It's my suggestion which will be benefit your community.
Re: New release for 2015 ?
agree with armyboylegend
near one year for (an open source) new release is a very long time .....
i remembered the time when you announced a roadmap ... but we're still in release 0.9.x
Could we expect release 1.0 in a short delay ?
thx
