Does Vesta CP setup security best practices automatically?

I have been evaluating quite a few control panels and one of the first tests I do is to run a simple PHP script to list the contents of various folders/areas that should be restricted on the server.

I was just wondering if Vesta secures the server it is installed on by default or if there are any guides for setting it up for a shared hosting environment?
