File Manager for VestaCP
File Manager for VestaCP
Hello
I installed Vestacp yesterday and it looks like iam going to stick with it after trying Sentora which broke down with an error and stopped functioning after a day and Webmin that seems good but takes time to learn.
But iam missing a File Manager in Vestacp, is there a specified File Manager for Vestacp?
Thanks

It's going to be in the next version.

Great to know, makes many processes easier instead of using ssh all the time :)abad wrote:It's going to be in the next version.
Re: File Manager for VestaCP
I would recommend the WinSCP usemagzen wrote:Hello

Re: File Manager for VestaCP
Hi.
First, please, don't care about my poor English...
I tried Vesta CP on a fresh Ubuntu 14.04 LTS install.
Really, Vesta is a very easy and intuitive control panel. So congratulation for your work.
I also tried to install webmin which i'm familiar with. In webmin, i love the File manager to easy edit files (log or conf files)...
But, as i can see on other threads here, Webmin seems to be broken with Vesta.
So, i will use WinCSP as you invite to edit files waiting the file manager feature you plan, but do you know what is the problem with Webmin ?
And just a litlle bug : In the update menu, when i click on "auto update", i have a message :
Page not found (My page is https://serveur:8083/add/cron/autoupdat ... 4.01873585)
Thank in advance for your replies.

Re: File Manager for VestaCP
Ok, Just forget my last request about automatic updates.
I found this thread : viewtopic.php?f=16&t=8813&hilit=autoupdate
It's ok now for me after i edited the /usr/local/vesta/web/templates/admin/list_updates.html file.
Thank you.

Re: File Manager for VestaCP
Hum....
Using webmin is possible.
I found when i look in the firewall menu.
So, just go in VestaCP Firewall menu, and add a new rule with accept TCP, Port 10000
