If it is a bug, it is a major bug!

How do I turn iptables off? Like this...? If so, should I disable IPv4 and IPv6?

Disable IPv4 iptable firewall:

Code: Select all

# service iptables save
# service iptables stop
# chkconfig iptables off
Disable IPv6 iptable firewall:

Code: Select all

# service ip6tables save
# service ip6tables stop
# chkconfig ip6tables off

Is there a way download older version of this great CP?
it not possible
Imperio - forcing users to install unstable program isn't the right thing.
I don't think any other software developer does this kind of things.

all of my sites screwed after upgrading to new version of vestaCP.
I am getting 500 error message.
these are real sites every single minute down time costing us money and damaging our reputation.

this is silly approach not giving users choice to select stable version of the software.

Nobody forced you to upgrade. Please do understand you are choosing to use free open source software in a production environment. You know there can be bugs. Don't just hit the upgrade button and hope for the best. Hint: test first, before rolling updates out to servers that make you money. And even then you should make sure you have backups to restore the "old" working server environment. You are damaging your own reputation... Using any open source product without a support contract or without professional knowledge and experience yourself can be tricky. Just first upgrade one VPS that is not commercially important to you, see if it's stable, before upgrading servers your business relies on.

Thanks for all your help. My Web Server is working perfectly now. I had to do a fresh re-install after all and now it seems to be running as smooth as butter.

I did not have to stop and start my iptables. But if you are reading this and you are having this issue, maybe you should consider doing so. Read replies above for my details.

Thanks everyone!
