Aha, the user I created had a number in the username like "myuser2016" this is an invalid format taken in the prefixes in DB user then.

This is really stupid.
Have taken a new user, without a number in name, then moved domain to new user and database and I cannot login in phpmyadmin and wordpress gets no connection too.
