Let's Encrypt no longer working

Post by emilner » Wed May 30, 2018 9:53 pm

I think since a recent update Let's Encrypt on my server has stopped working. When going to:

web -> DOMAIN -> SSL Support -> Lets Encrypt Support -> Save

I get:

Field "ssl certificate, ssl key" can not be blank.

I understand Let's Encrypt is now included since a recent update but I had previusly followed the following hack when it wasn't so I think this may be related:

http://www.servermom.org/install-lets-e ... tacp/3208/

Also when running the vesta LE command I get:

# v-update-letsencrypt-ssl
x509: Cannot open input file /usr/local/vesta/data/users/admin/ssl/domain.com.crt, No such file or directory
x509: Use -help for summary.
domain.com =Error: LE domain.com validation

Does anyone know all the correct folders, config files, symlinks etc so I can check my installation?

Bump.

I updated my vesta CP and tried running v-update-letsencrypt-ssl, on checking the web interface my SSL parameters were empty.
Now I can't restore it because of this bug.

open file
/usr/local/vesta/data/users/---user_name---/web.conf
find "LETSENCRYPT"
where you want reload LETSENCRYPT
set "no"
resave domain

Just had this issue today. I can confirm that the solution from andron_2006_83 works perfectly. Thanks.

Also thanks from me! I had that issue just for one domain and still don't understand what happened out of the blue...
But at least it's a fix for the moment. No other domain seemed to be affected. Does anybody has an idea how the problem comes up?

Thanks again, cheers!
