Upgrade PHP 5.6 and PhpMyAmdin

I would like to know how to use php 5.6 on Vesta, when I did the update the phpmyadmins crashed.
it is possible to use PHP 5.4 and 5.6 on the same server?
then how do I update to 5.6 php and affect the operation of phpmyadmin
I use hundreds six 64bit and if possible do this in hundreds seventh would be even better
