Digital Ocean Snapshot
  • Quote

Post by shanjie » Fri Feb 26, 2016 3:55 am

I have configured the VestaCP on the digital ocean and took and snapshot on it.
After that I removed the original droplet.
I am having problem to start the httpd after I spin up another new droplet.

Suspecting its due to the IP change.

Seeking for valuable suggestions here.

My previous installation was running on CentOS 7 x64 with StartSSL

I solved it by rename oldpublicip.conf to newplubicip.conf and nano newplubicip.conf and modify the IP to the new IP then removed both old public and internal IP .conf in /etc/httpd/conf.d

Then follow the guideline viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5975

service httpd start

To solve the StartSSL problem.

Login to the VestaCP, uncheck the SSL support and save it then check and save again. The SSL will start to work again.

Glad you find the solution,
I want to know if I wanted to change the old IP with the new IP, so where I have to go to change it.
Please reply.
