Convert Apache install to Nginx

Is it possible to convert my Apache + Nginx install to Nginx + PHP5-FPM? I know I could create backups of all my users, install VestaCP from scratch, and then import all the backup files. But I'm hoping to not have to do that.

Interesting question there...

I don't think the Backups will work out of the box without any additional Configuration. You may have your DBs and Site files restored but I'm not sure if the configuration of server blocks will be auto-configured.

So be warned. If I were you, I'd make a fresh new server with Nginx+PHP-FPM and try the restore safely without affecting my production server.

Let's see what others have to say... if anyone ever did that before.

Backups maybe work, so if you restore vestacp backup it will restore apache configuration and nginx, then you only need rebuild vhosts and it do the work.

In all cases is easyest enable just php-fpm templates in vesta, in this case you can use nginx +php-fpm in some sites and in orther sites if you whant apache + nginx as proxy and of course you can use nginx+ php-fpm in all sites.

This is posible also.
