Virtual host configuration is gone
Virtual host configuration is gone
After upgrading from apache 2.2 to apache 2.4 we had several problems with the configuration files.
Almost every night apache isn't restarting again (i guess there is a cron running?), there is a failure within a configuration file because there is an Include instead of an IncludeOptional somewhere. It was not always the same virtual host.
But today It was really strange:
A whole virtual host section was gone in the config files.
But when I was going via the webgui actually the VestaCP, there was the domain available with all the configuration.
The user has around 10 virtual domains and only one was missing. The other were all there. When I tried to change something in the virtualdomain-configuration in the vestacp, then I got a error 12 message.
I use Nginx as caching and there all was okay.
I finally had to make a restore from that section from an old config file and now it works again.
But how can it be, that in the webgui there is all available but in the /home/$user/conf/web/apache2.conf and also sapache2.conf everything is missing.
I had before a ssl "bad cert domain" failure. And then I did a "v-check-letsencrypt-domain $user $domain" command. I guess, that there was a mistake???
Can you explain this behaviour?
