Letsencrypt moved domain problem
Letsencrypt moved domain problem
Hi first thanks for such an excellent project VestaCP is simply fantastic in so many ways. Having the possibility of letecrypt support is fabulous!
I'm having issue getting letencrypt SSL working on a domain I have moved from another VestaCP.
When trying to save the web configuration with SSL support and letsencrypt activated it fails with the error message:
'The key authorization file from the server did not match this challenge'… followed by the challenge codes
I had thought I had messed up with DNS but this is all properly propagated
I tried deleting the nginx.domain.name.conf_letsencrypt files from /home/account/conf/web/ directories and tried moving the /etc/letsencrypt configuration from the source VestaCP server. The error persists unchanged.
Hope someone can point to my mistake so I can get this operating again.

Re: Letsencrypt moved domain problem
How much time has passed since you changed the A record and what is the TTL on DNS A Record.
You might want to wait 48 hours to re-issue the certificate
or
better idea!!!
you can copy your old Let's encrypt certificate from old VPS to the new one... simple :)
